Your experience begins with hotel pickup in a private vehicle, accompanied by your professional guide, who will assist with translation throughout the activity.
You will be taken to the Historic Center of Salvador, where the rhythm of the city comes to life in a personalized percussion session.
The class is led by Master, a respected percussionist with a rich background in Bahia's music scene, having collaborated with iconic groups and artists such as Olodum, Timbalada, and Margareth Menezes.
During this 1 hour and 30-minute session, you will be introduced to the foundations of Afro-Brazilian percussion, learning how rhythm plays a central role in Bahia's cultural and spiritual identity.
You will explore:
- Samba reggae rhythms
- Traditional Afro-Brazilian grooves
- Sacred Candomblé rhythms such as Ijexá and Alujá
- Basic techniques and coordination using authentic percussion instruments
